Peer Support Program Manager Speaks Out About Stigma

Katy Welty is the Program Manager for West Yavapai Guidance Clinic’s Peer Support Program – a program that connects clients with peers who can draw upon their own experience and wisdom to guide and bolster the client in their journey. She is an incredible Manager, and was recently featured in the Daily Courier’s series on Women’s History Month in an article called “Stigma about mental illness can be deadly”.
