Psychiatrist / Nurse Practitioner

Adult Psychiatrist(s)

Graduate of an accredited school of medicine. MD with completion of residence in psychiatry. Board certified or board eligible in psychiatry. Position is eligible for NHSC scholar or loan repayment plan.

Provides quality diagnostic assessment, medication evaluation/management, and psychotherapy to meet the mental health needs of a varied caseload which may include seriously mentally ill adults, the developmentally disabled, geriatric, general mental health, and substance abuse clients.

Hospital and Outpatient Medical Directors

The Medical Director(s) will provide general psychiatric services within various programs offered at WYGC while functioning as a clinical leader. Provides clinical oversight and direction to the clinic and/or hospital and acts as a resource for both medical and non-medical members of the staff. Requires participation in the on-call and emergency care of patients. Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in psychiatry and 2 years of medical staff superviory experience in a healthcare setting. National Health Service Corp loan repayment program eligible.

Carries a caseload and provides quality diagnostic assessment, medication evaluation/management, and psychotherapy to meet the mental health needs of a varied caseload which may include seriously mentally ill adults, the developmentally disabled, geriatric, general mental health, and substance abuse clients.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Opening for licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with certificate for prescribing and dispensing authority to join current staff of psychiatrists and nurse practitioners. This position offers outstanding opportunities for applicant to work with diverse adult populations in a collegial and team-oriented environment.

Provides quality diagnostic assessment, medication evaluation/management, and psychotherapy to meet the mental health needs of a varied caseload which may include seriously mentally ill adults, the developmentally disabled, geriatric, general mental health, and substance abuse clients.

Several full time positions available. Fast paced/challenging position. Responsible for a wide scope of direct services to persons with Serious Mental Illness,general Mental Health, Chemical Dependency and Co-occurring needs. Must be well organized with good written and verbal communication skills. Bachelors in Human Services and/or Behavioral Health field and/or combination of education and experience to equal four years of behavioral health experience.
