Graduate of an accredited school of medicine. MD with completion of residence in psychiatry. Board certified or board eligible in psychiatry. Provides quality diagnostic assessment, medication evaluation/management, and psychotherapy to meet the mental health needs of a varied caseload which may include seriously mentally ill adults, the developmentally disabled, geriatric, general mental health, and substance abuse clients. Administration Health Information Management Specialist HIM/Medical Record Specialist - Salary = DOE In support of our organization, there is an immediate opening within West Yavapai Guidance Clinic / Windhaven Psychiatric Hospital for a HIM Specialist. The ideal candidate will perform the following tasks with demonstrated success in the following areas: Retrieves discharged medical records from hospital unit and ancillary departments Assists in reconciling retrieved medical records against patient discharge listings to ensure receipt of all records within twenty-four (24) hours of discharge Assembles all discharged patient records daily in proper order for scanning into the Documentation Management System to facilitate quick retrieval of specific information. Assists in the Point of Service scanning to ensure quality control of record entry into the Electronic Medical Record Reviewing charts for deficiencies and compiling monthly statistical reports Scans and indexes loose reports/documents that are identified as critical to coding Requests and returns paper records from off-site storage as applicable Routes loose reports and/or late documentation to WYGC Document Management System for scanning Retrieves and prints medical records from Documentation Management system (as applicable) Opens HIM mail and routes medical record requests to HIM document scanning and/or ROI Specialist Photocopies paper medical records as directed by the ROI staff Assists in the processing of walk-in requests for Release of Information Maintains or exceeds established productivity standards while achieving or exceeding established requirements for accuracy Practices and adheres to the "Code of Conduct" philosophy and "Mission and Value Statement" Answering and directing phone calls, customer service functions Other duties as assigned Education: High School Diploma is required, health information management education and or medical office practice education a plus. Experience: A minimum of 1 year recent experience with medical records/handling of patient health information and/or work experience in a physician office setting, two-three years preferred. Electronic Medical Record experience is strongly preferred. A minimum of one year experience with clients with serious mental illness, mental health and drug/alcohol issues required. Current AZ license required. Pool Health Service Technicians Health Service Technicians needed in our hospital and residential units. Requires a combination of education and experience in behavioral health/psychology/counseling equaling a minimum of 4 years. Works with adults who have serious mental illnes, mental health, and/or substance abuse diagnosis. Management/Supervisory Director of Information Technology The Director will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer and will be responsible for the management of all IT network, programming, billing and system functions. The successful candidate will be directly responsible for the data center, network technology, and application development. The above duties will include providing assistance to managers, physicians, and other business partners in the development and implementation of information systems and new technologies that support the clinic and hospitals strategic plan. This position serves as the Chief Security Officer of IT and is integral in policy and program development, implementation and monitoring. This position utilizes the application of systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications and needs. It designs, develops, documents, analyzes, creates, tests and modifies computer systems or programs based on and related to user or system design specifications This position formulates, interprets and implements management polices and operational practices related to IT, telemed and telephone operational practices. Work that is performed is integral to business operations on a daily basis. The Director identifies and recommends all IT purchasing and contract needs, negotiates costs, and submits contracts for final approval signatures. S/He provides expert advice and consult to management on all IT matters. He troubleshoots and resolves key business continuity areas related to phone, computer and system management. This position will also be responsible for oversight and development and programming for the Avatar Clinical and Billing system. The successful candidate will be directly responsible application development. This position designs, develops, documents, analyzes, creates, tests and modifies the Avatar program based on and related to user or system design specifications Determine the requirements for new Avatar modeling through communication with the system sponsors. Develop Avatar modeled Options and Crystal Reports to satisfy business requirements. Document the modeled Option or Crystal Report to assist in the support and maintenance of the Avatar system. Optimize Avatar systems whenever possible to create performance gains in both data storage and system performance. Assist in procurement and installation of the physical Avatar systems, i.e. data warehouses, ECP, Health Information Exchanges, Document Management and related systems. Assist in the daily restart and backup of the Avatar databases. Assist in the administration of Avatar user accounts and user roles. When directed, provide Avatar User support for specific problems related to Avatar development. Conduct clinical/technical training for the Avatar systems when directed. Work that is performed is integral to business operations on a daily basis. He provides expert advice and consult to management on Avatar matters. Prefer Master Degree and certifications in IT development and systems. A minimum of two years of IT management/supervision required. |
